I just received my completed Bite Guard from Dr. Hu's practice and I am very pleased with the device and all the efforts put forth by Dr. Hu and staff to make sure the Bite Guard was comfortable. I have received one from another practice many years ago and never wore it very much as it was not comfortable. I am a big teeth grinder and the current Bite Guard I have is so comfortable, I am thinking about wearing it during the day when I am at my desk as well as my grinding is not limited to night time. Dr Fay review I have visited Dr. Fay for my dental annual check up a couple times only because I do not live local here in Winter Park. Here I want to share my experience with her office’s services. For my every visit, even the front receptionist changed but I always feel the warm and welcoming when I step into the office, specially the new receptionist Rachael, she is so personally kind when she greeted me. I do also miss a lot of the retired front desk Rosemary - her big smile and thoughtful words simply light up my heart whenever I spoke to you or had a conversation with her. Everyone in the office has been always very helpful, polite and professional with great smiles. While I used to like the office setup because it is well organized, quite, clean and classic, my recent visit has made me like the office even more because of its new renovation which has added a few ounces of modern sensations. And I like the service that the new hygienist Michelle provided who worked with Ashley closely examining, noting down the characteristics of each of my teeth on my chart before cleaning them. Their attention to details and gentleness are outstanding to me because I do not remember I have experienced this in other dentist office before. We were moving from NY to Florida for the retirement, we start over of everything including finding a good dentist. We tried several dental services nearby, none to our satisfaction comparing to our NY dental service in terms of technical know-how and cost of each treatment, after half year searching with referral from friends, finally we found Fay Hu General Dentistry located in Winter Park, though the service facility is a little far from Mount Dora where we are living, it’s absolutely worth the trips in order to have Bridge Crown & post & Core build up, the retreatment of anterior is such an accurate that I don’t feel anything exotic as if the filling teethes were like original. Their comprehensive Dental Examination as well as general tooth cleaning is just wonderful. We feel lucky to have Fay Hu General Dentistry for our oral health which is associated with a form our body health in a long run.

Dr. Fay Hu has always done an excellent job for many years with all of my dental treatments as needed. I have no complaints. For those of us that don't like needles, she is able to give a shot that can't be felt and I've never experienced any pain receiving a filling, root canal, or a cap. She's the best. Dr Fay Hu is an expert on how Sjogren's makes oral health so difficult. She understands that the best a Sjogrens patient can do may not be enough to halt the damage this disease can do to your mouth, teeth, tongue, etc. And on top of that she is a really good dentist. I knew of Dr. Hu's reputation as an excellent dentist and that she has a skilled team in Winter Park, Florida. My visit was an unexpected emergency brought about by a sever toothache. Dr. Hu agreed to see me on short notice due to my situation being an emergency. My not living in the Orlando area would have been a scheduling problem at any clinic, but Dr. Fay Hu's compassion was extraordinary. First she made a careful gentle inspection of the area and stopped the terrible discomfort so that my problem was corrected. Let me assure you that this very accomplished established world class dentist really cares for you!

After two years in Orlando, I finally found a good dentist! Before Dr Fay, I was still going back to my dentist in NYC because I loved her so much. I wasn't blessed with great teeth from my parents, so despite a strict brushing/flossing regimen, I've had my fair share of cavities, oral surgeries to remove teeth, and root canals (yes, all plural!). After a year of scheduling difficulties with my dentist in NY, I finally broke down and decided to find someone here. As luck would have it, I bumped into my wonderful neighbor one day as he was coming home from the dentist and got such a glowing referral that I booked an appointment that day. I have to say that three visits later, I am a satisfied customer. My only gripe, which I don't know if I should really take a whole star off for because I don't know how these things work, is that she doesn't take my insurance and so I've had to pay more out of pocket than if she were in-network. Again, luck was on my side and my insurance provider is changing to a company that she does accept, so I'm looking forward to seeing if it makes a difference in costs. Dr Fay is very patient, extremely knowledgeable and detail oriented. Even though she doesn't have my dental history from my old dentist, she was able to piece everything together to give me the best options for my teeth-related issues (TMJ and migraines). Her staff is super friendly and helpful, and having just had a cleaning this week, I love my teeth again!
